The Birdwatchers Project is a 14-block foundation paper pieced pattern, with the blocks delivered as a block of the month pattern over 12 months (2 months will include 2 blocks).

The Birdwatchers Project Welcome Pack, which includes schedule and fabric info, will be delivered immediately after purchase.

The finished quilt is approximately 69" x 69".

The birds in this quilt are inspired by the board game, Wingspan, designed by Elizabeth Hargrave and sold by Stonemaier Games. The game artwork is done by Natalia Rojas and Ana Maria Martinez Jaramillo.

What you'll get:

• 14 foundation paper piecing patterns of birds native to North America

• Fabric requirements for each bird

• Finishing instructions to piece all blocks together into a large throw quilt with sashing

You can sew your blocks into the throw-sized quilt, or create smaller projects like pillows or wall hangings. Choose your own adventure!
